OUR MISSION

We have heard many times, “We need affordable housing!” Almost every small, medium, and large municipality says it. Our focus is to partner with these areas in NC and work to provide this needed resource. We build more than houses. We build homes, neighborhoods, and most importantly -  Community. Every street is an opportunity to provide a new start for a neighborhood when our new homeowners move there.

Our homes, additions and renovations add tax base for the city, affordable living for the owner, and new neighbors who help support the community, local churches and synagogues, businesses nearby, and schools. We use local lending institutions whenever necessary. A home is the leading source of equity growth for the minority community and provides shelter beyond the rental cycle. It is a “win-win-win” for everyone who is affected.

We endeavor to purchase lots or houses that have been neglected or abandoned. It is a cost to those who have maintained it, but often a forgotten resource for added capital and cash for the owner who would like to sell a non-performing asset.

Our philosophy is simply focused on the improvement of whole communities, not just building houses. Adding new homes brings vitality to neighborhoods, especially when the home is attractive, and the owners are excited to improve their lot in life. Local business communities thrive where the local population grows. We are purposefully committed to ensuring that we contribute to every locale in ways that go beyond just the home built.

Above all, however, we strive to Honor God in all we do.

Our Background:

Lang has been building houses since in high school and in college. After Graduating from North Carolina State University with a degree in business management and another degree in economics he set out to get his builder’s license and hasn’t looked back since. He started building custom homes for homeowners concerned with getting the best quality for a reasonable investment. After purchasing mini parcels of buildable land he started building entry level houses highlighting custom features, such as 9 foot ceilings on every floor, multiple paint colors, solid wood cabinets with slow closing doors and drawers, and more.

Lang is also an expert insurance restoration and counseling resource. He has acted as an catastrophic independent insurance consultant which took him all over the eastern United States and into the Midwest handling thousands of claims over a number of years. Lang knows the insurance business inside and out and could be of great value to someone dealing with an insurance claim and restoration.

On a personal note, he is a graduate of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, where he earned degrees in Business Management and Economics. Born and raised in Concord, NC, He has always called the Charlotte area home. He's the father of two and is someone who enjoys giving back through community leadership. Over the years, he served five terms as President of the Park Crossing HOA in South Charlotte and two terms as President of the Providence Optimist Club. Lang is also proud to be an Eagle Scout — an experience that helped shape his values of hard work, service, and integrity.
